Neuroscan
Apex Health is a MedTech innovator partnering with 12 major university hospitals. Their mission is to use machine learning to act as a "second pair of eyes" for overworked medical professionals, specifically in the high-stakes field of neurology.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION
An AI-assisted diagnostic dashboard designed to reduce cognitive load for radiologists. By optimizing contrast ratios and pre-processing 3D MRI scans, the interface helps doctors identify anomalies faster and with greater accuracy.

THE CHALLENGE
Radiologists suffer from extreme fatigue, reviewing over 100 complex MRI scans a day. Decision fatigue sets in after 4 hours, drastically increasing the risk of missed micro-fractures or early-stage tumors. Existing software was built on 20-year-old legacy frameworks with poor contrast ratios and excessive clicking, stealing mental energy needed for diagnosis.

THE SOLUTION
We designed a "Co-Pilot" interface. The AI does not diagnose; it highlights. We implemented a "Pre-Read" layer where the AI scans the 3D mesh and applies a heatmap overlay to areas of interest. Crucially, we developed a custom "Deep Slate" color palette (`#1A1D21`) to minimize eye strain in dark reading rooms and replaced panic-inducing "Red" alerts with a spectrum of Amber and Teal indicators.
THE OUTCOMES
22% Faster average review time per scan.
14% Increase in early-stage anomaly detection during blind A/B testing.
User Sentiment: 9 out of 10 radiologists reported feeling significantly less drained at the end of their shift.

Technical Lead
Most designers try to make medical software look 'clean' like an iPhone. DesignFrame understood that we need it to be 'quiet.' The dark mode logic they developed is scientifically perfect for our reading rooms.
